Client: Port Authority of New York & New Jersey
Location: New York, NY
Status: Completed in 2016

This new transportation station was designed in the wake of 9/11. It consists of the highly visible above-ground Oculus as well as an extensive system of underground concourses connecting the various Ground Zero buildings, PATH trains, and the subway.

* Christina D. Long was part of the design team while working at Santiago Calatrava, NYC from 2004 to 2008. Her main effort was to generate a parametric computer model of the sculptural structural ribs based on sketches by Calatrava.
